Fund your account

In order for you to fund your account, your account will have to be FICA verified.

To top up your trading account login to your client portal using your username and password you created during registration.

Or you are welcome to deposit into one of our bank accounts. Please use your unique user ID as a reference on both credit card deposits and EFTs when topping up your account. You would have been issued your GT247.com user ID after successfully registering a live account.

We have accounts with all major SA banks to make the process as efficient as possible for you.

Important things to note:

  • There is a minimum deposit of ZAR 500 for Futures/Spreads accounts.
  • There is a minimum deposit of ZAR 2000 for CFD accounts.
  • Credit Card deposits will reflect immediately in your account.
  • EFT deposits will reflect only when they appear on a GT247.com bank statement. ETFs can be actioned by any bank; we have accounts with FNB, Standard Bank, ABSA and Investec.
  • Your account must be funded within 28 days of opening otherwise it will be temporarily deactivated in accordance to JSE pricing policy.

  • EFT deposits can take up to 24 hours to reflect in your account depending on your bank. ETFs can be actioned by any bank; we have accounts with FNB, Standard Bank, ABSA and Investec.
